SHOW AND WORKSHOP Age 6-10
Why go outside to play, when you got Playstation and TV in your
room? Why go outside to play when you can SMS and chat with your
friends on the mobile and in cyberspace?
In contemporary Scandinavia it is possible to grow up without bodily
consciousness. You can lead a life almost without physical activity.
But bodily consciousness, ie balance and coordination, are important
elements in a good life.
The intention of this workshop is to let the children be amazed
by the movements of breakdance and let them feel the joy of the
dance.
The workshop consists of intensive practice under guidance of the
experienced and well-founded instructors. Another aspect in the
workshop is learning different stretching and warm-up drills.
The instructors will also discuss the original values of HipHop:
togetherness, creativity, originality and peaceful competition.
The workshop finishes with a Freestyle Phanatix show, which displays
all the genres of breakdance.
